Student Biometric Registration Requirements

The following explains the requirements needed to use the Biometrics Registration module.

  1. Note that ONLY Digital Persona 4500Digital PersonaScanner shall be used for Biometrics Fingerprints data capture

STEP 1: PROFILE CREATION

  1. Visit the MAPCED portal and click on "Create Profile"
  2. Fill in your email address, matric number and all other required information.
  3. Click on the verification link sent to your email address
  4. Pay the data capturing fee and update your profile.
  5. Upload Passport photograph
    • Ensure your face (eyes, nose, ears, mouth and jaw) is fully shown without bending
    • Ensure the Photo background is white or off-white. Click here to see a sample Picture
    • Complete profile creation and proceed to STEP 2

STEP 2: FINGERPRINT CAPTURING

  1. Visit tokenwebite.com to buy biometric token
    OR
    Visit the MAPCED website - https://mapolyeedcentre.com.ng/buytoken
  2. Your Token will be delivered to your email address
  3. Proceed to Centre for Linkages and Continuing Education to capture your fingerprints
  4. Upon successful fingerprint capturing. Print your registration slip

CAREFULLY FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION BELOW TO INSTALL THE BIOMETRIC CLIENT
This prerequisite below is required and should be installed seperately before clicking the Install button:
The following prerequisites are required:
 
  • Windows Installer 3.1
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (x86 and x64)
If these components are already installed, you can launch the application now. Otherwise, click the button below to install the prerequisites and run the application.

  If you encountered error of 'Get the updated version', un-install the current application and re-install from the site
